Dinner today is actually clear fridge day. Turned Dinner today is actually clear fridge day. Turned out to look quite expensive yea? 😂 

3/4 pack of French beans left 2 slices of steamed pumpkin, a jar of home made hummus, few slices of bell peppers.... and salmon. Hmmm... what shall I do? 

As I cooked, somehow the idea slowly formed. Who else is a last minute, no plan cook like me? 😝 

Pan fried crispy skin salmon with blanched French beans served with hummus, mushrooms cooked with balsamic vinegar and white wine and served with roasted peppers, ikura, balsamic vinegar glaze and ponzu. 

Steamed Japanese pumpkin slightly charred with toasted cumin and pistachios with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. 

Dessert was simply a very sweet  and fragrant peckham pear and Thai honey mango.

Lunch was the long missed sourdough pasta with put Lunch was the long missed sourdough pasta with puttanesca sauce with prawns. So good!!! 😇 I am in heaven... ok exaggerate much. Told hubby we should definitely make this more often. 

Had also a warm spinach and king oyster salad, roasted cauliflower and some blueberry sourdough bread.
